A phony "protective" association causes a milk war among the ranchers until they vote for Gene Autry as sheriff. When Frog Millhouse mistakenly purchases a dairy farm instead of a cattle ranch on behalf of Gene Autry and his band, they wind up in the midst of a milk war. Behind the nefarious business is Doctor Blair, a veterinarian who has organized a "protective association" sending his men to raid any rancher or farmer who fails to pay dues to join it.
